About Me

Amanda & Rusty at Friars’ Meadow, Sudbury.

Hi !

My name is Amanda and I run a Pet Photography business, covering the counties of Suffolk and Essex.

I live with my dog Rusty and flock of bantams in the village of Boxted Essex, near Colchester. I am surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the Dedham Vale and spend as much time as possible outdoors. I am very fortunate to live close to the border of Suffolk/Essex and divide my spare time between them both – so my Pet Photography business naturally covers these two counties.

The market town of Sudbury is my second home, with its glorious expanse of water meadows just a stone’s throw from the bustle of shops and traffic. It’s such a fantastic place for dogs (and people) to have fun !

Rusty, a Fox Red Labrador Retriever, came to live with me in February 2014.

How can I describe him ? He is loving, obedient, handsome and very funny – and the centre of my World … Everyone who meets him falls in love with his wonderful personality. He can certainly be a ‘rascal’ when he wants to be and so I chose this as my business name – to celebrate the fun-loving, cheeky side to a pet’s nature which we all find find endearing.

Rusty has turned my love of Pet Photography into a passion – as I have tried to capture every possible expression and mood – whether it be ‘goofy’, cute or ‘dashingly’ handsome – building up a huge catalogue of images of my Best Friend. These give me a great deal of pleasure and bring back wonderful memories of all our holidays and adventures together – as the very essence of ‘Rusty’ is captured forever …

My mission is to help you by capturing the special character of your pet and how much they mean to you. Whether it’s to display in your home amongst your other family photos or to have made into a special book….you can proudly show your friends and treasure these images for many years to come.

I hope to meet you and your ‘Best Friend’ very soon !
